• Invoice Processing: Responsible for accurately processing invoices received from vendors, ensuring that they comply with company policies and procedures.
• Vendor Management: Communicate with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies, payment inquiries, and other issues, maintaining positive relationships and resolving any disputes in a timely manner. Managing e-mails and admonitions (Mahnungen) in vendor and partner relationships.
• Payment Processing: Process payments to vendors via various methods such as checks, electronic transfers, or online payment platforms, ensuring accuracy and adherence to payment schedules.
• Expense Reporting: Review and process employee expense reports, verifying expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies, and reimbursing employees in a timely manner.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable transactions, including verifying balances, resolving discrepancies, and preparing reports for management review.
• Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions, including invoices, payments, and vendor correspondence, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
• Month-End Closing: Assist with month-end closing activities by preparing accruals, reconciling accounts payable sub-ledger to the general ledger, and generating financial reports as needed.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the accounts payable function, proposing and implementing solutions to streamline processes, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.
• Compliance with finance policies
• Assisting with any other ad hoc projects

• At least 2-3 years Accounts Payable experience
• Excellent knowledge of Excel
• Excellent communicator & good facilitator skills in relationship with vendors and business partners
• Able to prioritize
• Strong team player with high performance ethic
• Organized, enthusiastic
• Finance/accounting studies
• Very good German skills
