Become a Lead Selenium Automation Tester at msg Romania

We have an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently seeking a talented Selenium Automation Test Engineer to join our team and play a key role in enhancing the quality and reliability of our web applications.

As a member of the msg Romania QA team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop cutting-edge automated tests, and contribute to the success of our software products used by one of our most prestigious insurance clients, located in Switzerland.

• Providing quality software development and deployment
• Performing automated tests to ensure the software is fit for purpose
• Analysis of software and systems, plus reporting
• Mitigate risk and prevent software issues
• Design and develop automation scripts when needed
• Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle
• Provide timely solutions
• Work collaboratively with other team members, including developers, product managers, and other testers
• Team Coordination and mentorship 
• Participate in code reviews, provide input on testability of features, and contribute to the overall quality of the software
• Provide support and documentation
• Positive attitude contributing to self- and team-growth

• Hard Skill Proficiency:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software development, or a related field;
  • Solid foundation as a test automation engineer and as a Selenium tester;
  • Familiar with writing and maintaining automated selenium test scripts
  • Proficiency in using Selenium WebDriver for browser automation
  • Strong foundation in manual testing to complement automation efforts (test case design, execution, defect tracking)
  • Good German skills;
  • ISTQB Certification/ Selenium Certification/ Test Management Certification could be a plus;
  • API Testing and .net knowledge could be a plus.
• Team Coordination Skills:
  • Capability to coordinate teams of testers & mentoring juniors;
  • At least 3 years in a leadership/coordination role
  • Experience in planning and managing test projects (defining scope, scheduling, resource allocation and risk management);
