Senior Network Administrator

We’re looking for a new colleague to join our team. In this role, you will design, manage, and continuously enhance complex enterprise network environments for our customers.

  • Completed IT degree or completed IT-related vocational training, or an equivalent qualification acquired through professional experience and further training
  • (Extensive) knowledge in the design and operation of dynamic routing protocols (e.g. BGP), DNS, VXLAN, VLAN, VPN, firewalling, hyperscaler networking, and segmentation
  • (Extensive) experience in operating centralized management tools
  • Considerable understanding of IT infrastructures (interdependencies with operating systems, applications, server-client technologies)
  • Existing Palo Alto and/or Juniper certification, or willingness to obtain further certifications is desirable
  • Confident handling of hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Confident handling of ITIL processes, repositories, and Git processes
  • Affinity for automation and scripting

  • Proficient in German and English language, both written and spoken

  • Administration, operation, and continuous development of complex network environments, including Palo Alto Firewalls, Juniper Switches, Cisco Switches, Sophos Firewalls, Infoblox, VMware NSX
  • Design and implementation of network architectures and concepts for our customers’ IT solutions (including automation, staging, hardening)
  • Creation and maintenance of (PowerShell) scripts
  • Fault and performance analysis as well as troubleshooting and incident resolution
  • Conducting root cause analyses
  • Processing service requests
  • Coordination of vendors and service providers
  • Creation and maintenance of system documentation and operational manuals
