Cybersecurity Consultant (ISMS)

As a Cybersecurity Consultant (ISMS), you will support organizations in designing, implementing, and continuously improving Information Security Management Systems. You will ensure compliance with international security standards, manage risks, and strengthen overall security posture in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
  • 2–3 years of professional experience in IT security, preferably with ISMS exposure
  • Strong knowledge of at least one of the following frameworks: ISO/IEC 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz, NIST Cybersecurity Framework
  • Hands-on understanding of technical security concepts (e.g., networks, systems, cloud security)
  • Experience in risk management and security assessments
  • Clear and effective communicator

  • Analytical and structured
  • Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus)

  • Support the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of ISMS frameworks
  • Advise clients on compliance with standards such as ISO/IEC 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz, NIST, and similar frameworks
  • Conduct risk assessments, gap analyses, and security audits
  • Assist in the development of policies, procedures, and security documentation
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure secure system architectures and controls
  • Support preparation for certifications and audits (e.g., ISO 27001 audits)
  • Analyze security incidents and contribute to continuous improvement measures
  • Stay up to date with current threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices
