Cybersecurity Engineer
As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing tailored security solutions for our clients. This role requires a mix of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and good communication skills.

- Completed studies in (business) informatics, IT security, engineering sciences, or a comparable qualification, and several years of professional experience in the cybersecurity field
- Solid experience in cybersecurity, ideally with a focus on automotive and ISO 21434, ideally proven by relevant certifications
- In-depth technical knowledge in cryptography, security protocols, and technologies such as authorization, authentication, identity management, PKI infrastructures, HSMs, SE-Linux, etc.
- Knowledge of vehicle networks, control units (especially high-performance computing platforms), and embedded systems
- Knowledge of current automotive security mechanisms, including SecOC, SecOS, MACsec, IPsec, SOME/IP ACL, Secure Boot, and diagnostic firewall
- Experience in the efficient use of AI tools
- Practical experience in risk analysis (TARAs), threat modeling, vulnerability assessment, and selection and application of security mechanisms
- Confident communication in German and English

- Technical leadership and execution of demanding projects to fulfill relevant regulations and standards in the field of automotive cybersecurity, especially ISO 21434, UNECE R155/R156, TISAX, CRA, NIS2, etc.
- Coordination of security process cycles in the environment of Software Defined Vehicles – aiming for audit and homologation capability
- Technical implementation of cybersecurity requirements (including according to ISO 21434) in customer projects, including independent execution of risk analyses (TARAs), threat modeling, conception, specification, and activities in validation and verification
- Participation in the development of secure vehicle architectures and their networking with offboard and cloud systems, as well as cybersecurity concepts, including the creation of evidence and documentation for cybersecurity compliance
- Collaboration with customer development and quality teams, as well as internal experts
