Backup Administrator
We are looking for a new colleague to join us as a Backup Administrator. In this role you will play a key role in ensuring the availability, integrity, and recoverability of our customers’ data across complex multi-cloud environments.

- Completed IT degree or completed IT-specific vocational training, or an equivalent qualification acquired through professional experience and further training
- Good knowledge in the setup and operation of data backup environments (Veeam product range, CommVault, AWS/Azure/GCP native)
- Solid knowledge in the backup and restoration of different workloads (OS, databases, SAP HANA, etc.)
- Several years of experience in the administration of backup and restore as well as disaster recovery
- Compliance with process-oriented operations according to ITIL
- Affinity for automation and scripting (Terraform, Git processes)
- Strong customer and service orientation in a service provider environment
- Willingness for night and weekend assignments as well as participation in on-call duty
- Clear and effective communicator
- Flexible and adaptable team player

- Analytical and structured
- Good German and English language skills
- Administration of complex data backup environments in multi-cloud environments
- Assistance in the development and implementation of new backup and restore concepts for our customers' IT solutions
- Error analysis and troubleshooting
- Processing of service requests
- Creation and maintenance of system documentation and operating manuals
