Windows Administrator

We are looking for a skilled Windows Administrator to join our team and play a key role in the administration, operation, and continuous development of complex Windows Server environments.

  • Completed IT degree or IT-specific vocational training, or equivalent qualification acquired through professional experience and further training
  • Extensive knowledge of setting up and operating Windows Server environments
  • Strong knowledge of operating central management tools (e.g. Ansible) and operating system-related services such as DNS, WSUS, PKI, ActiveDirectory, file services, etc.
  • Proven understanding of IT infrastructures (interrelationships with network, DNS, server-client technologies)
  • Existing Microsoft certification and willingness to obtain further certifications
  • Confident use of hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Confident handling of ITIL processes, repositories and GIT processes
  • Affinity for automation and scripting

  • Proficient in German and English

  • Administration, operation and further development of complex Windows Server environments including DNS, WSUS, file services, PKI, Active Directory (from Windows Server 2019 onwards)
  • Development and implementation of Windows Server concepts for our customers' IT solutions (including automation, staging, hardening)
  • Maintenance and updating of Symantec Endpoint Protection
  • Creating and maintaining (Powershell) scripts
  • Error and performance analysis and troubleshooting
  • Performing root cause analyses
  • Processing service requests
  • Coordinating suppliers and service providers
  • Creating and maintaining system documentation and operating manuals
  • Participating in the optimisation of processes
