Senior .NET Developer

In this role, you’ll contribute to delivering complex systems, with a strong emphasis on quality, stability, and solid software engineering practices. The projects focus on developing and maintaining enterprise-grade software solutions for customers in Germany’s financial and accounting sector.

Mandatory technical requirements

  • Programming in C# / .NET, both on the client and server side
  • Frontend development using WPF (XAML)
  • Working with relational databases, especially SQL (DB2)
  • Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP)
  • Applying software design principles and patterns
  • Experience with multi-layer architectures
  • Using Dependency Injection
  • Experience in unit testing
  • Debugging skills
  • Experience working in agile teams
  • Clear and effective communicator
  • Flexible and adaptable team player
  • Efficient problem-solver
  • Analytical and structured
  • Proficient in English and German

 

Nice-to-have technical requirements

  • Experience with MS Visual Studio (2022 / 2026)
  • Knowledge of Managed Extensibility Framework (MEF)
  • Using versioning systems (Git, GitHub)
  • Experience with DevOps and cloud environments (e.g. Cloud Foundry)
  • Knowledge of application monitoring (Grafana)
  • Experience with Artifactory / JFrog
  • Using Vault
  • Experience with messaging systems (IBM MQ)
  • Using AI tools for software development (e.g. GitHub Copilot)
  • Documentation and collaboration using Confluence

  • Developing and maintaining software applications using C# / .NET, both on the client and server side
  • Developing and adapting desktop interfaces using WPF (XAML)
  • Working with relational databases and implementing SQL-based functionalities
  • Applying object-oriented programming principles and good software design practices
  • Working within a multi-layer architecture
  • Implementing and maintaining unit tests
