Senior Citrix Administrator

As a Senior Citrix Administrator, you will take ownership of Citrix landscape and you’ll combine deep hands-on expertise across Citrix Cloud and on-prem components with a service mindset—driving stability, performance, and continuous improvement through automation, hardening, patching, and strong operational discipline.

  • Completed IT degree or IT-related vocational training, or an equivalent qualification acquired through professional experience and further education
  • Extensive experience operating Citrix Cloud and Citrix on-premises components (e.g., Citrix DaaS, Citrix Studio, PVS/MCS)
  • Existing Citrix certification (CCA-V) is a plus
  • Confident use of Citrix products (NetScaler, Citrix Cloud)
  • Solid understanding of ITIL processes (major incidents, escalations, reporting paths)
  • Strong customer and service orientation
  • Reliable, self-directed, and responsible working style
  • Willingness to work night and weekend shifts and participate in on-call duty
  • Clear and effective communicator

  • Good command of German and English, both spoken and written

  • Administering, operating, and further developing complex Citrix environments, including Delivery Controller, Citrix Cloud Connector, Citrix FAS Server, NetScaler, and Citrix Cloud
  • Designing and implementing Citrix environments to enable access to our customers' IT solutions (including automation, staging, hardening, and patching)
  • Maintaining and updating NetScaler, VDA/VDI, Citrix infrastructure, and Citrix images
  • Performing fault and performance analysis and resolving incidents within the Citrix environment
  • Conducting root cause analyses
  • Handling service requests (2nd/3rd level support) and user tickets/incidents
  • Creating and maintaining system documentation and operations manuals
