Operational Procurement Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operational Procurement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day purchasing activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services, and supporting smooth operational processes across the organization. This position plays a key role in optimizing supply chain efficiency and contributing to the overall business performance.

- Approx. 1–3 years of experience in a comparable role would be ideal
- Commercial training or a degree in a business-related field
- Basic commercial and contract law understanding
- Knowledge of SAP Ariba and S/4HANA (Sourcing and Procurement)
- Very good knowledge of MS Office, Outlook and Teams
- Clear and effective communicator
- Flexible and adaptable team player
- Efficient problem-solver
- Analytical and structured
- Proficient in English and German
- Processing purchase requests from our msg-specific tool "Einkaufsdatenbank" into purchase orders (via email, web portal, or SAP Ariba)
- Reviewing, managing, and monitoring procurement activities, including invoice verification
- Providing subject matter support to requesters (e.g. in case of issues with SAP Ariba)
- Collaboration with other roles, especially strategic procurement, IT and internal requesters
- Communication with suppliers (via phone and email)
- Handling warranty claims
- Price and condition negotiations
