IT Operations Support Specialist

We are seeking an IT Operations Support Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, monitoring and maintaining IT systems and infrastructure, and ensuring that all IT operations run smoothly as First and Second Level Support.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or operations
  • Knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
  • Experience with troubleshooting software and hardware issues
  • Knowledge of Ab Initio Control Center, Host (Mainframe), PuTTY (Linux), WinSCP, Workbench (Harvest), ProcMan, Eclipse (SQL), Pepper, Omada (Security), Tableau Wiki, Jira, and Assist

  • Good German and English language skills

  • Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting and problem resolution
  • Monitor and maintain IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring that all IT operations run smoothly
  • Respond to system alerts and take appropriate action to resolve issues
  • Document all IT support activities and maintain accurate records of all support requests
  • Collaborate with the IT team to identify and implement process improvements
  • Participate in the testing and deployment of new software and hardware
  • Assist with software and hardware installations, upgrades, and maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures
  • Provide end-user training on new software and hardware as needed
  • Manage and maintain IT inventory, including hardware and software licenses
