Automation Engineer

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Automation Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, provisioning, and automation of modern infrastructure environments.   • Experience with OpenStack infrastructure
  • Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Yaook)
  • Experience with automation tools such as Ansible or PowerShell DSC
  • Knowledge of Windows Server administration and automation
  • Knowledge of Linux system administration
  • Understanding of networking concepts (routes, security groups, provider networks)
  • Clear and effective communicator
  • Flexible and adaptable team player
  • Efficient problem-solver
  • Analytical and structured
  • Proficient in German and English language, both written and spoken

  • Provisioning of a domain in OpenStack using Terraform or Yaook
  • Provisioning of projects within the previously created domain using Terraform or Yaook
  • Provisioning of provider networks for the domain/projects using Terraform or Yaook
  • Assignment of user permissions for new domains/projects using Terraform or Yaook
  • Provisioning of virtual machines in OpenStack using Terraform or Yaook (VM templates)
  • Creation of standard routes and security groups using Terraform or Yaook
  • Automation activities within Windows virtual machines:
  • Installation of roles and features in the Windows environment
  • Configuration of roles (DC, FS, TS, etc.)
  • Import of GPOs and settings
  • Possible tools: PowerShell DSC, Ansible, etc.
  • Operating system installation
  • Installation of packages for CheckMK, Nginx, etc.
  • Configuration of packages (CheckMK and Nginx)
