Service Desk Specialist

• Basic understanding of Windows/Mac OS, Microsoft Office, and networking fundamentals
• Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Heat, ServiceNow, Zendesk, etc.)
• Experience with Active Directory, VPNs, remote desktop tools, or Office 365
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Clear and effective communicator
• Flexible and adaptable team player
• Efficient problem-solver
• Analytical and structured
• Proficient in German (spoken and written) and in English

• Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, chat, or ticketing system
• Record, classify, and track all service desk interactions using the designated ticketing system
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware, software, network, and application issues
• Escalate unresolved or complex issues to Level 2 or specialized teams, as necessary
• Follow up with users to ensure issue resolution and user satisfaction
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of internal systems, tools, and standard procedures
• Contribute to documentation, knowledge base articles, and support guidelines
• Creating and maintaining knowledge base articles for recurring issues
• Supporting onboarding of new employees with account setup and access provisioning
• Operating within defined SLAs (Service Level Agreements)
