• Several years of experience in security engineering, ideally within an IT service or managed service provider environment

• Contribute to the conception and further development of security solutions for our customers — from gathering technical requirements through to actionable solution design
• Develop technical concepts, low-level designs, and configuration specifications as the basis for implementation
• Evaluate and propose suitable products and technologies, and support the preparation of calculations and offers
• Hands-on implementation, configuration, and commissioning of network and security components in customer environments (firewall, routing/switching, VPN, WLAN, IDS/IPS, NAC, PKI, KMS, HSM, etc.)
• Analyze errors and resolve incidents during ongoing operations, and support 2nd- and 3rd-level support with complex technical issues
• Create and maintain operating concepts, operating manuals, and technical documentation in accordance with BSI standards and internal requirements
• Support the execution of threat modelling activities (e.g., according to STRIDE or MITRE ATT&CK) to systematically identify threats and attack vectors in customer infrastructures
• Derive and implement technical protective measures from identified risks, and document the results within the context of overarching security concepts
• Implement technical measures to meet regulatory requirements such as DORA, BAIT, and BSI IT-Grundschutz in productive customer operations
• Contribute to gap analyses and risk assessments in the context of BaFin regulatory requirements, and document implemented measures in an audit-proof manner
• Act as the technical contact person for customers in ongoing projects and operations — from coordination at working level to presenting results clearly for non-technical stakeholder
• Contribute to the presentation of proposed solutions and status reports to customers
